What does tuition cost?

What
is the average class size?
It varies from grade to grade. In the
Elementary the average is 15. In the Secondary the average is 12.
How
many field trips?
It varies from grade to grade.
Is
the school accredited?
Preschool is accredited, and the rest of the
school is currently in candidacy status for Accreditation.
What
special classes are offered?
Art, Computer, Music, Chorus,
PE, Spanish and more.
Is
Lunch provided? Choices and Costs?
Lunches may be pre-ordered each month.
Different lunches are avaialble on specific days each week. The cost ranges from $3-$4.
What
is the school Grading scale?
The school uses two scales. The traditional
scale which is A 94-100, B 86-93, C 78-85, D 70-77, F below 70, and
where appropriate the non-traditional scale of E for Excellent, S
for Satisfactory, N for Needs Improvement, and U for Unsatisfactory.
What
curriculum is used?
Various textbooks from a variety of publishers
are used.
Does
the school have a Library?
Yes. In fact the Elementary classes go
once a week to check out books.
Is
before care and aftercare provided?
There is no before or after care provided, but there are several daycare
centers that service our students.
Does
the school have a dress code or require uniforms?
Yes, there is a
dress code, and uniforms are required for grades 1 – 12.
Do
the students get to have recess?
Each of the Elementary grades and
Preschool has recess and/or P.E.
Is
Homework assigned?
Yes, though the amount is very light on Wednesday.
What
sports are offered?
Depending on interest and participation:
Girls: Basketball, Soccer, Softball, Volleyball, and
Cheerleading
Boys: Basketball, Soccer, and Softball
